T am going to try it. I can handle the assignment.
I will be joining in the techno fast. I am excited and prayerful and will follow what the Holy Spirit leads me to do! Thank you so much.
I will! Very Timely, Technology has gone wild! I can and i will thanks again!
I will try it this Thursday. Although, I rarely look at television anymore, I think I’ll try giving up the internet. I have replaced the internet with television and I only use my cell phone if I just really, really need to get in touch with someone. I usually email them. So, I will go without the internet for 24 hours on Thurs.
So I did it, a tech fast on 3/4/10. At first I didn’t want to because it was the anniversary of my mother’s passing 8 years ago, I wanted to post things like r.i.p. and respond to comments. I made it though.
1) did not send any tweets from my phone.
2) did not read any tweets on my phone.
3) did not go on facebook.
4) did not watch any tv
5) no one texted me & I did not text anyone.
My focus was on my ski trip that begins this fri afternoon. Yesrterday afternoon I spent my time packing. Looking for things I needed for my trip. I did not reflect. I did not read the bible. I prayed at bed time.
– I tweet and facebook, but I don’t abuse using these social sites. Cub scouts keep me busy. Drama in my life keeps me on a roller coaster.
So I made it through a tech free day.
