This is Your Wake Up Call!

Praycation 2013 – Confidence

The Word for Today – Confidence

Read Exodus 14: 21 -22

“…and all that night the Lord drove the sea back…”

When the Hebrews woke up that fateful morning, they found out that the Lord had been working all night to move massive amounts of water so that they could cross the Red Sea on dry land. All night long the Lord was working on their miracle. All night long the Lord was working to fix the problem. All night long the impossible was giving way to the possible power of God. The morning revealed what the Lord had done during the night.

Beloved, you can face this new day with confidence. All night long the Lord has been working with a sea of issues for you! Moving some things to the side or splitting them right down the middle so that when you woke up this morning you’re able to cross to the other side of a challenging obstacle. Hallelujah! The God who never slumbers nor sleep was busy all night long.

Spend extra time in prayer today. In quiet communion with the Lord, the winds of doubt and fear will calm down and faith will call confidence to rise. Ask God to reveal the overnight solutions to any issues blocking your path toward progress in your personal spiritual growth, home life, relationships or career. Face the day with confidence knowing that while you were asleep last night God was working on the blessings of a new day.

Let us Pray: Omnipresent God, surround us with your strength and open our eyes to see the solutions you have been working on all night long. Forgive us for the days we have relied only upon ourselves. Forgive us for the days we allowed fear to overshadow our confidence in a God who is a present help in time of trouble.

Calm the raging sea of our minds making it like a still pool of water ready to receive whatever thoughts you drop into it. In Jesus name, empower us to face this day with confidence.

Beloved, God took all night to work on some stuff for us! Spend some time with God in quiet communion to see what is on God’s mind for you today.
