This is Your Wake Up Call!

Praycation 2013 – Fear and Focus!

Word of the day: Fear
Verse of the day: “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7(NKJV)

We spend our life living less than we are called to be because of this thing called fear. It immobilizes and hinders us from completing even the simplest of tasks. The plagues of “what ifs,” the taunts of “you should’ves,” followed by the whispers of “it won’t works” are enough to send us all running. That is, of course, if you don’t know whose you are and who you serve.

God’s word declares that He did not give us fear . While there are things he has given us, fear is not one. So if you sense fear, that should be a cue to look to God. Instead of fear, he has given us power, the ability to make things happen; love, which conquers all; and a sound mind, the ability to reason wisely. Against this three strand cord, which is not easily broken, fear cannot stand.

Today, declare over your life and the lives of those you love that fear has no authority. Declare that you live under the rule of power, love and a sound mind. Ask God’s perfect love to permeate your very being, driving fear out of even the darkest places in your life. Proclaim that today, you are free.

Let us Pray: Dear God, I don’t want to live a life of  fear. Help me today to draw on the power, love, and sound mind that you have given me to dispel the lingering fear that has no place in my life! In JESUS name, AMEN

Inspiring Others to Expect the Impossible!

Beloved, allow the perfect love of God to cast out all fear in your life. Face the day with power, love and a sound mind. Shake the tendrils of fear from the tresses of a new day. Do breathing prayers today. Find a quiet place and sit still in the presence of the Lord. Breathe out fear and breathe in power of God. Breathe out : Lord I need you. Breath in: Lord I receive. Repeat until calm rules and reigns in your being. Have a great weekend beloved.
