This is Your Wake Up Call!

Keep Hope Alive!

“Behold, the Lord God shall come with a strong hand, And His arm shall rule for Him; Behold, His reward is with Him, And His work before Him. He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, And carry them in His bosom, And gently lead those who are with young.” Isaiah 40:10, 11 NKJV

The holiday season can be one of the most depressing times of the year. Loneliness, feelings of loss can be overwhelming. The weight of the reality that another year is ending with dreams unfulfilled can lead people to question whether life is worth living. However, there is hope and that hope is in Jesus.
God himself loved the world so much that he came to Earth as a human child. He came to care for humanity as a shepherd would care for his sheep, making sure we are fed and comforted. During this season, as we celebrate the birth of Christ, remind yourself and share with others the message of the hope that lies within. This hope is in the salvation of Jesus the Christ. Belief in Him will not only give eternal life, but it is also the give comfort to the despair and hopelessness of this life. Simply trust and believe in Him who has come to lead, comfort and care for us.

Minister Tracey Bowen Bell (TBB)

This season of Advent, the moments before the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ is a way to organize your waiting by using prayer, devotion, praise and worship in the midst of  great anticipation and expectation. While you are physically preparing, spiritually prepare your heart for the coming of the Christ child again.

Open your heart to hope instead of the hurts of the present or the past. You can do it….God can help!

Make sure that your given is from deep within and not because you are looking for something back. Remember the best gift that one can give is given of one shelf.
