This is Your Wake Up Call!

Sharing is Caring So Give!

“But just as you excel in everything – in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness, and in the love we have kindled in you – see that you also excel in this grace of giving.”

2 Corinthians. 8:7

It is more blessed to give than to receive: That is the true essence and imagine of Jesus. From the very moment of His conception, He has done nothing but give, to us: lovingly, freely, abundantly and wisely. He gave until he could give no more. He gave His life.

During this season, each day, try to focus and give something to someone who doesn’t expect anything. A kind word goes a long way for the person wrestling with loneliness. Buy their lunch for the person on a very short budget. Speak to someone you may not know, buy coffee for the person in line behind you. Most importantly, give the gift of prayer. Even the smallest thing could mean the world to someone else. Just one small gesture…
Develop your gift of giving by giving a gift; it doesn’t have to be tangible. Give to someone who can’t give you anything in return. Choose to be a blessing. Our Father sent his son Jesus, led by example, giving the ultimate sacrifice. His life…That’s love!

What a marvelous idea. Give something to someone who was not expecting a gift! There are people we live and work everyday who are not expecting anything but an encouragement to have a very merry Christmas. Pick someone. Pick a gift. Give without looking for anything in return! Share the joy!
