This is Your Wake Up Call!

Live Through It!

“But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence. But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God-and righteousness and sanctification and redemption-that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.”
1 Corinthians 1:27-31, NKJV

We must come to the greater realization God does not judge our accomplishments, the places we’ve been, the people we know, or the titles behind our names to be the sole reason for our access to the gospel. God best judges what measures serve the purpose of His glory. It is your humility and ability to obey God’s words that propels you in the face of God and in the positions of people. In Jeremiah 9 and 23, 24, it is written, “Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty may glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his riches; But let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord, exercising my loving kindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight, says the Lord.” I wish you to understand even after all you may have experienced in life, you can still have the favor of God.

Throughout the course of my day, I remind myself there is still this great ability within me to have great favor and faith after my failures. Some days I think to myself everything I went through in my life was spiritually constructing while naturally navigating who I am today. Furthermore, there is really no mistake in my God that if the truth be told what some people would have lost their natural mind over, God has sustained me to this point and is literally making me better.

See you have to understand your failures do not mean life as you know it is over, but rather your failures remind you God has the ability to show His power in your life. Paul writes to the Church at Corinth in chapter 1 of his 1st letter that God uses the foolish, the weak things, the base things and the despised things to exhibit His power to the world. The testimony God is building in you, ought to be the kind of testimony that brings to remembrance the mere fact what you are going through did not crush you but rather created a new and better you. What is foolish to some is actually the power of faith operating in your life.

I contend there are people in your periphery who don’t have the ability to understand how God keeps blessing you despite your struggles. There are people watching you right now in your “right now” who are dead set on the belief you will never get out of what seems to be tearing your apart. But what these very people do not understand is the God you serve has the ability to take that which is tearing your apart to build you up. I’m speaking to someone right now who understands that the world says you can’t, but with God you still can; I’m standing in agreement with someone who at one point was despised, but God still turned it around for your destiny; yet and still, I’m believing with someone who was told their dream would never come to fruition but can see God working it out for them even right now.

What the world is seeing as your failure, your misstep, your mistake, can actually be your place of favor. Today, I charge you not to die in your failure, but to live through it believing that God can and God will transition what you see now into your place of favor. Remind yourself there has to be glory after all of this. I’m not certain what you situation is, but I am certain you will have times when you feel less than adequate.

Yet and still, you just keep on believing that even if God has to use what the world sees as foolish, I will bless the Lord because I know I’m resting in His favor.

What a message! This wake up call speaks to the souls of us who have been persecuted and despised. At first, we don’t understand what us happening to us or why it is happening; because we’re just trying to do the right thing. We’re trying to do what Is pleasing to God. By walking in the spirit, we must keep believing that it’s all a part of God’s plan. His work will be glorified. To God Be the Glory.
