This is Your Wake Up Call!

The Lenten Journey 2016 – Can We Talk?

John 10: 1-21

When someone you trust asks, “can we talk?” your response is likely to be immediate. You want to hear what they have to say without delay. You may make eye contact and pay attention to their gestures, facial expressions and body language.

The nature of your relationship moves your willingness, openness and readiness to listen attentively. Intimate relationships grow with candor and in the power of safe space. It takes time, work and wisdom to build relationships where we can share matters of the heart.

Do those calling you to listen care about your life? How far would they go to to protect you from harm? As you read the parable of the Good Shepherd, pray to discern the truth about the voices you’ve been listening to your in your life.
