The Gratitude Project: Can Anything Good Come out of….

GRATITUDE FRY BROWN 4_2020-3The Gratitude Project

Gratitude Changes everything! Let’s change the world together!

“O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for his loving-kindness endures forever.”
Psalm 118:29

Today, I’m grateful for something good to thank God for!

In challenging times, it’s tough sometimes to see anything good happening around you. Where you expected to be, you’re not. The project launch didn’t happen. The business idea is on hold. Financial stability is now unstable. Your schedule has been disrupted by the unexpected. You’re trying to stay safe, but oh how you really want to get your hair done, get into that barber shop chair, get a mani or pedi, see something more than your living space, hang out with friends, and yes, even go to the job that you’ve  complained about for so long!

My prayer for you today, is that God will open your eyes to see something good today.

Let us pray out loud:
Open our eyes today to see all that we should be thankful for even if at the present moment our problems, pain or needs might lead us to believe that everything good has been swallowed up by a virus we cannot see.  Open our eyes to your unfailing goodness. Help us to see that you are working behind the scenes of our lives to usher us into a season of restoration and reconciliation… and for this, we are thankful.

Enter our hearts and clear away anything that prevents an attitude of gratitude. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Reminds me of April 14, 2020 reading in the One Year Bible! The war being fought is going so good and Joshua is determined it will end in Victory! Much more needed to be done however night time will soon come ! So he prays and commands the Sun to Stand Still! And the Sun stands still till Victory is Won! Perhaps, even in this pandemic God is allowing much needed time to prioritize much needed assignments requiring completion. Thank you Dr. Teresa Fry Brown for your encouragement! Thank You Bishop McKenzie this blog.
