The Gratitude Project – You Got Questions?

Gratitude changes everything. Let’s change the world together.

Tremecia Jones is an academician, preacher, and prayer warrior. She’s committed to Christ and the pursuit of the Lord’s provision, solutions and the answers to those pesky tough questions! She’s grateful!

Today, I’m grateful for God’s creative solutions.

Questions. I love questions, especially the ones that make you go sit down somewhere and wrestle with options, opinions and opportunities. And, I love the ones where you go sit down and pray somewhere wrestling with God refusing to let go like Jacob until the glimmer of an answer dawns in my spirit.

Generations have wrestled with Biblical questions like “Am I my brother’s keeper? (Genesis 4:9), If God is or us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31 and “Why do you look for the living among the dead? (Luke 24:5) We wrestle with those questions that arise when fear overrules faith, hatred overwhelms love and when truth masquerades as a lie. Then there are the “what happened? What happened to you? When? How? And why?

Some questions will be answered in our lifetime and others will be answered in eternity.

The question of this uncertain season is “When is the going to end? The answer, I don’t know. All we can do is trust the God who hold three realities – the past, present and future.

“Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.”

Psalm 37: 5

Let us pray:

We come today with joy in our hearts grateful for another opportunity to do all to the glory of God. Our spirit sings as we face the challenges and changes in our lives in your presence.

Forgive us when we have spent too much time murmuring and complaining. Deliver us from unwholesome thoughts and un-chastened desires. Turn our hearts away from hopeless brooding and faithless reflection.

We commit to you our souls, our bodies and ourselves. Increase our faith as we declare today an unwavering trust in your steadfast love. We commit to your care the sincere desires of our hearts trusting that you will act on our behalf. In Jesus Name, Amen.
