The Gratitude Project – Reset!

Woman Motivational Quote Facebook Post-2The Gratitude Project
Gratitude changes everything. Let’s change the world together!

Today, I’m grateful for the Reset. Thanks, John for sharing your cogent gratitudes. Thanks for all you do at Operation Hope to spread hope, dignity, financial recovery, housing and more!

Let us pray:
Eternal God, we lift our hearts to you; Hearts shredded by grief and disappointment; Hearts corrupted by fears and prejudices; Hearts pressured by a pandemic to be bathed in your love.

Reset hearts that have been twisted by the fear of things present or things to come. Reset minds stressed by the anxiety of an invisible dis-ease that seeks to steal our breath. Reset divisive attitudes, unfair practices and unjust policies. Reset selfishness and ignite personal revivals of selfless compassion in us all.

Reset our hearts that we may be swift to hear the cries of others from the pit of need. Enlarge our hearts to embrace with love the world larger than our own; help us to have special regard for and respond to the poor and weak, sick and frail, the very young and the very old; the pressured and oppressed regardless of their zip code or social economic status.

All of creation is precious in your sight, thank God. Help us to demonstrate extravagant generosity wherever a need is found. In Jesus name, Amen.
