This is Your Wake Up Call!
Listen

Tell it! Text it! Tweet it! Turn up!

We’re rarely speechless. We’ve always got something to say whether it is the latest murder, mayhem or pandemic including our favs in the world of reality television programming. Issa’a Insecurities, Mowry’s departure from The Talk  or Holt’s reported filing for divorce.

God has blessed us in extraordinary ways in the middle of 2020 in spite of Covid-19, the economy and racial injustice!. Yet, you wouldn’t know it because we have not shared our good news, our testimony.

I’m not speaking about the tweets tweeted about mundane events or Instagram photos of where you were, what you’ve been up to or the Face Book posts of what you ate for dinner.  I’m not seeking to dig deep into anyone’s business for social media sordid details.

The Lord has blessed you in the middle of several pandemics. Yet, you are sitting on top of the testimony. You’re still standing while others have fallen. You’ve clarified your vision, in the middle of an uncertain season. You’ve stretched out on new ventures, while others are still waiting for the pandemics to be over. You’ve learned how to pivot when the world shut down and “make-do” working from home. You should have lost your mind with a house full of over energetic kids with nowhere to go, but you didn’t. You’re isolated but you’re not alone.

This is a good time to declare your good news. Tell the testimony about how the Lord bought you up out of a rough first half of 2020 into a brand new month. The testimony about how the Lord smoothed the way for you through the rough waters of office politics, corporate minutia and a plethora of virtual meetings!.

Where is the shout out to God for getting you into positions you couldn’t get yourself, or getting you out of places you had no business being in the first place.

Yes, there have been  great opportunities for advancement and great opportunities to retreat.  God be praised for every breakthrough, the break-ins of divine revelation and the break-up of some stuff that should have departed a long time ago.

My testimony? God is still able!  God is still able! God is still able!

Beloves, give glory to God for the things God has done. First, you’ll discover reasons to celebrate the goodness of the Lord daily. Second, you will reveal the true beauty of the Lord to others. Thirdly, sharing truthfully about what God has done for you serves as an encouragement for  someone else waiting for their prayers to be answered.

Don’t know what say? Start with ‘Thank you Lord” and keep going. Pray and the Lord will give you the words to speak. Share your testimony today! Tweet it! Text it! Tell it! Turn up!

Declare: I will pray today opening my mouth wide and God will fill it.
“I am the Lord your God, who brought you up out of Egypt. Open wide your mouth and I will fill it. Psalm 81:10” (NIV)

Now it is your turn to speak up. Use social media and/or the comment section and celebrate the goodness of the Lord!
